I always assumed poor sportsmen or drunks, but now I am wondering if there is a real purpose.

Being on a different world makes it difficult to tell what I don't understand and what comes from a different timeline.

I wasn't good at this at home either.

I could never tell if it was their regular manner of speaking, or if they got particular sport out of throwing them at me.

I can understand that. Half the time, I think they're making them up just to mess with me.

I have, on occasion, found out that's exactly what was happening to me.

I admit some relief that I am not the only one that trick was played on.

At least it wasn't just me.

I'm sorry, for the unpleasant parts, but I am grateful for the sense of camaraderie.
