1 - who keeps putting all these fish in barrels to shoot? What's the purpose?

2 - human teeth don't have skin, so why are they doing things by the 'skin of their teeth'?

3 - Helmets can be considered disposable.

4 - Since human body is 65% oxygen by weight and since oxygen is formed in the cores of stars, there is a chance you met someone whose body oxygen also came from the same star.

technically. yes. but after they have been damaged once they should be replaced. i'd still rather you damage the helmet than get hurt or killed, though.

I wonder if anyone's ever actually done it? I always figured it was just a saying, but they all come from somewhere, right?

You're asking the wrong man. I only heard it recently... had no idea what the hell it meant.

They don't use that one where you come from, huh? They must have a few sayings that mean something is supposed to be ridiculously easy.

My people don't have the same idioms, no. And the ones we do... they definitely don't translate.

Nothing that translates very well. Mostly they're about duty and the many before the self...

It's a whole thing.

Sounds a little bit like the Qunari. They always put their people as a whole before the individual. I don't know if that's the same thing, but they have a lot of idioms that don't track where I am down south, too.

Something from your world, I'm guessing? [Because he's never heard of a Qunari before.] It's probably similar.

I could never tell if it was their regular manner of speaking, or if they got particular sport out of throwing them at me.

I can understand that. Half the time, I think they're making them up just to mess with me.

I have, on occasion, found out that's exactly what was happening to me.

I admit some relief that I am not the only one that trick was played on.
