TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE
There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.
A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.
Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

2 explains why you are so patient when I'm late with rent.
I have seen what you are like drunk and how highly you value your ideas. You would and thus have.

It's really not that uncommon in Sumeru...I've come in to help fix Lambad's furniture more than a few times I didn't even go out the night before.

[ It's part of being an adult and not living under your brother's roof! ]
I have seen similar arguments between professors and professors and students in my world, so it is easy to see a nation of scholars regularly participate in such heated discussions.

[He's just gonna use the rent money on more things for you, Sherry! Stop it!]
I don't know if it's comforting or a little alarming scholars are like this in every world, so much that this seems to surprise absolutely no one.

[ No! He will continue argue this in various ways! ]
I suspect it has something to do with strong passions mixed with strong drinks.

[WHY DOES NO ONE EVER BELIEVE HE HAS NO ULTERIOR MOTIVES????]
It's true there's little reason to be a scholar if you don't have a passion for it. It's grueling work, for very little reward oftentimes. So those who remain to pursue it have a fire for it that's a little bit like insanity.
to be honest I'm not entirely sure the alcohol is necessary for fistfights to break out.

[ Because at least this one is traumatized by family related matters and by people pretending to be a friend only to backstab him. If he pays rent, there is less of a chance of that happening again because it is more business related... or something. Less of a chance of eventually being hurt. ]
The alcohol may not be necessary. People have fought over lesser things while completely sober.
