TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

1. Magic is one of the strongest skillsets I possess.

2. For nine decades I waited in a different "reality" to save a friend of mine.

3. I assisted in mounting a cannon onto a train so that we could crash it safely.

The cannons you see on the ship are actually a collaboration between myself and Cid.

[ she's not entirely sure how to feel about that, the questions are certainly mounting, but he's offered and she will accept. she can't deny she's curious about how he lived that long, to start. ]

Really? For starters, how? Though I suspect that likely ties into the why. To save your friend in any way possible.

The "how" is actually quite complicated. Essentially, I bound myself to a structure called the Crystal Tower. As time wore on, I was slowly being assimilated.

Saving my friend was also the equivalent of saving our star.

I know not what a train is, I fear, or why one would seek to crash one.

It is a vehicle that travels along a track. We needed to break down a wall and a train is quite large.

It acts like a carriage, yes, though the shape differs. Greatly.

Well, I guess you're right. People are always surprised when they hear how old I am, too.
