TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE
There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.
A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.
Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

Was that the incorrect one or...?

I'm from Palaven. It's the planet Rannoch that has no insect life.
[THIS GUY...]

It still sounds a little scary when there are no insect life around.

Until you run into bugs for the first time off planet. Then it's funny... for everyone else.
[Tali is going to shoot you, sir.]

I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Then I hoped you fared well when you went and visited the place.

We were a little more concerned about the hostile forces than the lack of bugs.

Suffice to say, we were fighting a war. The enemy was there on the planet.

I'm sorry to hear about that. It must have been really terrible to go through that.

[Probably because there wasn't much in the way of sentient life for the Reapers to harvest on Rannoch.]

And that things are slowly turning out for the better.

... yeah, well. Here's hoping. Ended right as I showed up here.

[It's probably more blunt than he should have been. But... he can't get the image of the day Shepard came out of his head. The cost of victory. One more choice she never should have had to make.]
War isn't like that. There's no good end for everyone. Sometimes, you have to let a thousand people die, so ten thousand can survive. Either way, you lose something. Someone.
Even if you win.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean put it like that. I was just a little worried about how it turned out.
no subject
We won. That's something.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to turn this conversation into a sad one.

It's just facts.

To feel upset over the facts?

Death is just a fact of life and I don't have a choice but to accept it.
Even if I don't like it.
