TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

[ This is someone who enjoyed making bets with his imaginary friend. ]

Kaveh, you are far too known among people to make these kinds of claims without some strategy.

There are plenty of people here who I've never met!

Besides, wouldn't the first two have seemed more like lies?

You need not to have met them for them to be aware of you.

[ For example, the many times Mehrak is still recording a conversation for all to see. Or drunken public hot or not debates. ]

Even if I exclude what I do know of you, some people in my world do not dream or at least cannot remember them. Furthermore, your generosity and passion to jump on any architectural project gives more evidence towards the other.

[That hasn't happened in months!]

If they've never met me, how would they know the latter?

Most people have reacted as if the lack of dreams is strange, so I'd thought...

The past creates a lasting impression, and people can read, watch, and listen to posts no longer "active" in the present.

[ Something Sherlock is regretting a bit from his own drunken antics, but that is besides the point here. ]

If not that, then there is enough gossip to fill in the gaps. They may not know you well, but they know of you. The lack of dreams is perhaps uncommon but could also be taken to mean that you do not remember them.

... Although, I know more than anyone that not being able to remember something doesn't mean it never happened.
