TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

Alas, that one is indeed true! Though I suppose it does come with a caveat.

While it’s true I have a sister who is my blood relative, we grew up in an orphanage, you see. So all the other children I grew up with came to be viewed as brothers and sisters of a sort. The younger members look up to me as their older brother, and since many of us don’t have any other family, why, it would be cruel to disregard each other, wouldn’t it? After all, we live together, eat together, do activities together… is that not what siblings do in a real family?

You won't find any argument from me. My family consider a bunch of folk our kin even without a drop of blood between us.

I knew you would understand, mademoiselle! Family isn’t just one’s bloodline, especially when you forge bonds stronger than that!

But that still leaves you guessing what my lie is!

In that case, I'm going with number one, since worlds can pretty darn big!

As much as I would love to travel the world and see all the seven nations, I'm afraid I've only seen a couple. But who knows where the future will lead?

I couldn’t have said it better myself! Although I’m in no rush to return home just yet; I still haven’t become the greatest magician in all of Eltrut yet!
