TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

[Nod-Krai... Bennett didn't know much about the place, but being a resident of Mondstadt meant it was nearly impossible to have at least not heard of it, given the Knights of Favonius' ongoing expedition there...]

nod-krai seems like an amazing place to be an adventurer... but i think it might be out of my league

Why would it? If you've faced a place like the Mare Jivari, Nod-Krai would be far easier in comparison.

it's not like i conquered the mare jivari though, or even managed to explore it at all. honestly, it's a miracle i even survived...

[Bennett loves adventuring like no other. But with that love comes a lot of inadequacies, in his mind.]

there's so much of the world i haven't seen yet. fontaine, sumeru, inazuma... heck, i've barely been to liyue, and that's right next to mondstadt! am i even ready for a place like nod-krai?

[Alhaitham sure had a way of cutting right to the heart of the matter. He was right. This was Bennett's dream. He dreamed of being a truly legendary adventurer someday, someone who could leave behind a legacy that would do his parents proud: both his birth parents, and the old adventurers who raised him.

What kind of "legendary adventurer" would just accept something as being too difficult for them?]

you're right. this is my dream. maybe it is out of my reach right now, but if that's the case, then i'll just have to keep getting better and stronger until i feel i'm ready to face that challenge.

i'll become the kind of adventurer who'll face places like nod-krai and the mare jivari with a smile on my face.

[Alhaitham just never sees any reason to beat around the bush especially when both parties are aware of the nature of the topic discussed. It's an aspect of himself that's never really going to change either despite all of Kaveh's nagging.]
