TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

Nope! Totally happened! Really wish it didn't.

How did that happen??

Well, to make a long story short, my son Louie was using a time machine to steal treasures from the past. It really messed things up, causing some kind of time tornado that pulled people in out of the past and future.

[ohwowzers]

Wowzers.

You know, that sounds like a lot of fun, but it also sounds like it would cause a lot of problems.

Were you able to put everything back to normal after?

It DID cause a lot of problems, and it was not fun. And you know it's bad when it's ME saying this.

But yeah, we got everything and everyone back where it was supposed to be. It was one of those times I had to step up and be a real parent.

Yeah, if you say it wasn’t fun then it must be awful. But I’m glad to hear that things got put back in order.

So then uh… would 2 be the lie?

That's correct! The goddess of the moon is one of my besties, but we've never dated. Romancing a god rarely ends well.

[ohwowzers]

Wowzers. I just find it amazing that you're friends with the goddess of the moon. That's like sayin' you're best friends with Cresselia.

Oh, uh, that's a Legendary Pokemon who's connected to the moon back home.

Well, I do have other connections to the moon as well. Most of them are depressing, but one of the few good ones is my other best friend - Penny, she's an alien FROM the moon!
