TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

i understand what you mean. three would be the lie for rarely would a crew member have a bounty that outstrips their captain. unless you have a bounty for other reasons and thus the captain has a bounty for permitting you around their crew.

ah! you guessed it, too? mine is the smallest. apparently the marines think i'm the straw hat's pet or something? luffy's is the biggest bounty.

take advantage of their false perceptions. you will have to leave a few alive for your bounty to be increased.

that you are unwilling to take lives deems you as a lesser threat. though, in similar terms, you become a valuable member they choose to overlook. still, it is where those who can bring harm, or lead others whilst also themselves proving as dangerous, if not more, will be marked higher.

they think i'm a pet. that's why they overlook me, and my bounty is so small. but you're right. luffy and zoro probably are considered more dangerous.

indeed. if you do not oppose using your skills to possibly debilitate your enemies. unless you already are?

what? no. i mean. i don't think so.

simple concoctions such as sleeping draughts or noxious clouds that could debilitate or deter their ambushes would raise your bounty without inflicting permanent harm.

i guess a sleeping draught wouldn't be so different from putting people to sleep for surgery.

yes. might i inquire, but you perform surgery? is that not dangerous?

it can be. some surgery is more risky than others. but i always have someone else with me to help out.

it does. that way you have someone supporting you. to make sure you're doing things right, to pass you equipment and stuff, help keep an eye on the patient.

[Magic being called magic isn't really a thing. It's just...part of their world with the Devil Fruit giving such strange abilities, is all. But otherwise, it isn't magic outside of perhaps stories told to children.]

i probably could manage alone if i had to. but for anything more serious, surgeries and all, i'm more used to having someone else with me. even just with my crew, having someone else like robin around could help. even if she isn't a doctor, it's still good to have another person.

[...And, really, if he had to choose? He'd probably prefer Robin or Nami to help assist him if necessary.]
