TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

I’ve been working on getting all the necessary paperwork and permits needed to open my own theatre over these last several weeks. I recently got the confirmation that the theatre will be opening soon. Probably within the next month or so.

Really? That's amazing, Lyney!

I didn't realize you were doing all of that! I can't imagine how much work it must have taken you do put all of this together.

I know, isn't it wonderful?

It took a lot of planning and effort to even conceal the construction of the theatre itself. Right now the building is being advertised as a warehouse to keep the surprise. But once it's done, it will surely be the talk of the town! And with our own venue, the type of tricks I can pull off goes up exponentially!

I haven't wanted to tell anyone because I wasn't sure if this would even be possible. But now it's so close, I can almost taste it!

Then do you need any help in advising it? I know I'm not that great with it but I'll do it if it means that your theatre will be successful.

Oh certainly! Once le théâtre des merveilles is open, I’ll need all the help I can get!

Now, I know the spotlight isn’t your forte just yet, but would you mind helping me to check the props and mechanisms I have planned for the theatre?

Sure. Just let me know what kind of props or other mechanics you want me to look at. I can even fix the machines too if you like.

I'll be sure to update you on how progress is going, and keep you in the loop on what needs to be done. Oh, but you need to keep this a secret from everyone that isn't myself or Lynette! Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise, right?

Well, I haven't told her explicitly, but something tells me Father already has an idea of what I'm planning. You know how she is.
