TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

Yes, I've come to expect that of you.

What would be a worthy cause to interfere in? You helped with solving the bread curse, so you do involve yourself in certain situations.

The 'bread curse' was no curse at all but a man-made contrivance. Even had it not stemmed from something tangible and was instead a true curse of magical origin, I would feel obliged to step in and halt it.

A volcanic eruption, on the other hand, is a whim of nature and a part of the star's natural cycle. To interfere with that process is tantamount to declaring oneself a god - or such is my belief, at least. My brethren debated the topic for many weeks before settling on the decision to evacuate the island's residents and let it happen as it ought. My friend defied this and went behind our backs to take matters into their own hands.

[ Try as Sherlock might, he cannot argue with that especially when the plan to evacuate the residents was in plan. Livelihoods can be rebuilt. A life, not so much. ]

Granted, I do have another reason to pursue the 'bread curse' and that is because the perpetrator is using Cid's creation to propagate it.

I understand it, but do not go so far as to think that I fully agree with your viewpoint.

[ Man is incredibly stubborn and will attempt to counter Nature's whims more and more as technology progresses. ]

However, when it comes to stopping people from misusing Mr. Cid's creations, especial for evil purposes, I am in full agreement that it needs to be done.
