TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

My thanks.

And you are correct. I had not sailed as often as I would have liked, but it was not alien.

That's pretty cool!

I never really sailed on a big ship before. There's ferries from the mainland out to my school which I took, but I've never sailed much myself. And I definitely didn't know how to use the sails or anchor or anything like that!

Nor had I, though perhaps that is due to such things being unexpected of a Prince, or mayhap my studies simply did not include the nautical. Either way, I have come a long way since then.

And what of you? Have you learned the rigging of a sail and the weighing of the anchor?
ohwowzers: (I can't believe you've done this)

Well, I tried to learn all the rigging and stuff, but it's still pretty hard work. Honestly I think it's just easier to surf on the back of a Pokemon, or fly on one.

That may be so, but I have learned the value of effort here, and the sweat of one's brow. I appreciate the work.

Yeah, there's something nice about being able to do hard work on your own. Even if I don't really like it, it's pretty rewarding.

But manning a boat is a bit more intense than working in the apple orchards back home.
