[ The image is fuzzy at first. Grumbling from a female voice can be heard-- finally, the image evens out and clears up, revealing none other than an adorable pink hedgehog. She plasters a big smile on her face, even if it is definitely a little nervous. ]

Hi everyone! Quick question, but is anyone good with repairs? Specifically the kind that have to do with maybe sort of repairing a biiiiig portion of a roof? Because, due to a series of extremely unfortunate events a month ago, I may or may not have made a tiny error while I was cooking, and... well. I accidentally got a skylight I didn't want and uh, a few walls knocked out.

[ The view shifts away from Amy as she slowly pans around the damage. It's been cleaned up, and there's tarp where the roof is no longer present. The whole kitchen leading into the living room is definitely heavily damaged though. It may or may not be obvious this wasn't a kitchen mistake. Amy will never tell the truth, though. The view flips back to her face again. ]

If anyone can help, I'd be grateful, and so would my friends! I'll pay you of course. Please let me know!

What did you say to Shadow? I don't see him difficult to upset, but he does spare much more patience for you than most.

But then, he does remember once when Amy mentioned Shadow, the way she blushed with a laugh. The weird tight feeling in his own chest, and it's happening again for some reason.

No, okay, he needs to think about this. Whatever his own problem is, it has to wait, because Amy is his friend, and clearly she tried to broach the subject of how she felt and Shadow, ever volatile, reacted poorly.]

That isn't your fault, Amy. Have you heard from him since?

It is my fault, and no, I haven't heard anything from him at all.

I tend to pick the wrong hedgehogs, apparently.

[He wants to gently tell her that it isn't her fault, but he understands that she probably won't hear it right now.]

Both Sonic and Shadow have very different... complications. [Even if Espio admires Sonic completely, it's still true; he won't be tied down to anything, and freedom is his first love.] Even if they are both quite singular.

Still, I would argue his reaction was not appropriate.

[Anyway.]

...I will help with repairs. I've had to do the roof for the agency a few times, so I have some experience.

I can definitely agree that his reaction wasn't appropriate. To he fair, he did try to let me down gently. Lesson learned.

[ She heaves a soft sigh. Honestly, it's been a month and she's not even butthurt over it anymore. Mostly. ]
