[ The image is fuzzy at first. Grumbling from a female voice can be heard-- finally, the image evens out and clears up, revealing none other than an adorable pink hedgehog. She plasters a big smile on her face, even if it is definitely a little nervous. ]

Hi everyone! Quick question, but is anyone good with repairs? Specifically the kind that have to do with maybe sort of repairing a biiiiig portion of a roof? Because, due to a series of extremely unfortunate events a month ago, I may or may not have made a tiny error while I was cooking, and... well. I accidentally got a skylight I didn't want and uh, a few walls knocked out.

[ The view shifts away from Amy as she slowly pans around the damage. It's been cleaned up, and there's tarp where the roof is no longer present. The whole kitchen leading into the living room is definitely heavily damaged though. It may or may not be obvious this wasn't a kitchen mistake. Amy will never tell the truth, though. The view flips back to her face again. ]

If anyone can help, I'd be grateful, and so would my friends! I'll pay you of course. Please let me know!

Cooking accidents happen. Gas leaks.

How interesting. And yet, I don't believe the source of the explosion is as from a gas line at all based on my examinations.

I don't know much about cookin' but I've never seen food do that.

Same! It was a first for me, too. I don't usually make mistakes in the kitchen, but...

Aha, yeah, I've never seen anything quite like this, not gonna lie.

[ Well. Directed at her, at least. She's seen Shadow blow other people's stuff sky high, but... first time for everything. ]

It was a silly mistake I won't make again. Lesson learned!

That much I could ascertain. Just not one in relation to cooking. I also don't believe Sonic or Tails are responsible, so that leaves me with one last possibility considering the remains of evidence from that day and who would come to see you.

Sonic and Tails definitely had nothing to do with it. It was all me! Fortunately they weren't home at the time.

[ It's nit a lie. It was her fault for pushing Shadow to the point of no return. ]

It'd take a few people t' get that fixed up, but it's not impossible. Prob'ly some money too, but considerin' th' projects me and me dad get up to, I could probably get somethin' started. Never built a 'ole house though, or parts of one. Can't be that hard.

I will gladly pay you and buy whatever supplies you need. I also kinda wanna watch and learn too, just in case something happens again.

[ She rubs the back of her neck with a nervous smile. ]

That amount of damage could not have come from a cooking accident.

...Right, so what's the full extent of the damage here? Given how large that "skylight" is, I wager you'd be needing a whole new roof...and more if there was any other structural damage to the house.

It might be a lot if yer not used t' buildin' or repairin' things. You okay with tools and th' like? I don't mind teachin' if you already know some things, or even just a few things.

[Trying to teach someone who isn't super proficient is possible, just takes more energy... but Mid would still do it anyway, probably.]

I can probably recruit me old man t' help too, we work faster together an' he taught me when I was a wee one.

I'm used to working with wood. I could take a look if you want.

[He is deeply curious. He knows Lace Harding - no one is that bad at cooking they blow out a wall or five.]

[But he keeps that to himself, for the moment.]

...Um, I can recommend some of the crews I used for the cafe but you might need to just have the entire house renovated.
