SHIVER ME TINDERS

Something’s been glitching with everyone’s shellphones this month…! They suddenly fizzle and go black and when they reboot it appears there’s been some unwanted activity happening on them on your behalf.

A network post has appeared and with it, fake social media profiles have popped up too. You didn’t post to it, the shellphones have automatically done that for you. They’ve posted one picture, your age and three random facts about you. Whether or not those facts are true or not is … sketchy at best.

If you’re curious, go scrolling through the network post and see what it says about others! Comment around and ask them about their facts! And maybe make a new friend?

- Oocly, you will post your character to the network post with a picture, name and age and three random facts.
- The facts don't have to be true and can be entirely made up and be random or wild. Or they can be the realist facts about your character. It's up to you.
- Have your character react icly any way you want!
- Post and tag around!
- This is not necessarily a romance/date finding post, we just thought it was funny. Make friends and cr!

Of course. Creative endeavors are always better at night.

Many endeavors are better pursued at night, under the light of the moon.

Mm, I would agree. It's when I do my best... contemplating.

It serves to reason. The moon is governed by the goddess Menphine, who urges peace and love in all things. Many poets find the night the most...agreeable time for...creativity.

Is this Menphine a real entity in your world?

Well, as a keeper of the faith, I believe she is, yes.

Have you seen her though? Or her direct influence?

No, admittedly not. Hydaelyn, the Mother of All? Yes, but not Menphina, not directly. I know at one time, they were summoned, but I wasn't on that particular battlefield.

Is summoning a god common in your home?

Regrettably yes. Aether is ever present, and when enough is collected together and the process performed correctly, the belief of the faithful might call forth the form of their god. [A beat.] Admittedly, 'tis only a manifestation of that faith given form, not the deity itself. A Primal we call it most commonly, others "Eikons". As false idols, they demand ever more Aether and thus are more a detriment than an aide.

How fascinating. Do these Primals believe they are the true entity?

They do. [He nods.] As is fitting for a creature born of the belief of its followers.

It helps, certainly, that these Primals are capable of asserting their Aetheric control over any who come near them, which results in zealous devotion. We have recently developed a means to cure this "tempering", but for far too long, the only answer was...well, death. The Tempered will do ought else save serve their god, by any means necessary.

Death would seem like a preferable outcome than being trapped in zealous devotion. Though I am glad you've found a less permanent solution for them.
