SHIVER ME TINDERS

Something’s been glitching with everyone’s shellphones this month…! They suddenly fizzle and go black and when they reboot it appears there’s been some unwanted activity happening on them on your behalf.

A network post has appeared and with it, fake social media profiles have popped up too. You didn’t post to it, the shellphones have automatically done that for you. They’ve posted one picture, your age and three random facts about you. Whether or not those facts are true or not is … sketchy at best.

If you’re curious, go scrolling through the network post and see what it says about others! Comment around and ask them about their facts! And maybe make a new friend?

- Oocly, you will post your character to the network post with a picture, name and age and three random facts.
- The facts don't have to be true and can be entirely made up and be random or wild. Or they can be the realist facts about your character. It's up to you.
- Have your character react icly any way you want!
- Post and tag around!
- This is not necessarily a romance/date finding post, we just thought it was funny. Make friends and cr!

oh. that's fine. i was just curious. i can't swim, so. something like that seems pretty amazing.

You can't swim? How come?

i ate what is known as a devil fruit back home. i didn't know what it was, just that it was a fruit. that changed me from being a regular reindeer to being like this. that i can talk and walk and stuff like a human. but if someone eats a devil fruit, it means they can't swim in exchange for whatever unique abilities it gives.

Huh. Powers in exchange for the ability to swim. You can still at least be in shallow water, right?

yes. i can still bathe and be in really shallow water. that's why the others got me this little pool to cool off in! and darin carries me sometimes.

Then you have plenty of work around. Hell, if it's some specific issue, perhaps even that can be addressed.

it's not something that can be addressed. kinda makes it harder being a pirate, but. we figure it out. it isn't like others in the crew can't help me out if i fall in.

It can't? And you're still a pirate? Heh, that's one way to live on the edge.

i am. not just me. luffy, our captain and our historian, robin, back home are pirates, too.

Oh really? That's cool. Huh, you're actually the first pirate I know personally which is kind of funny.

i'm a doctor on a pirate ship. but. yes. i'm part of the straw hats crew back home.

The doctor? Good to know. That's something that seems lacking here.

aw, i'm just doing my best. it's nothing that big of a deal.

Don't downplay your accomplishments. It's a lot of work being a doctor, and don't think I missed you mentioning you were a regular reindeer at first. It can be harder for non-humans in some worlds to be taken as professionals.

that's true. back home, my family shunned me after i changed. people can still be scared sometimes or think i'm weird because i can walk and talk and all.

But look at you now. You're part of a crew that accepts you as you are. So, even if anyone else thinks you're scary or weird, they'll still be there for you.

yeah! they're like my new family, now. and i have my crew members here, too, under zelda as captain.

Good! If you didn't, I'd probably have to start my own so you'd join.

Possibly, but I am enjoying my break from any leadership position.

i guess that makes sense. it can be a lot. the expectation and responsibilities.

It can be. Making sure everyone's fed and taken care of, any maintenance is taken care of, looking out for too much roughhousing, balancing the books, answering any mail and writing correspondence... I don't think taxes were due when I left...
