SHIVER ME TINDERS

Something’s been glitching with everyone’s shellphones this month…! They suddenly fizzle and go black and when they reboot it appears there’s been some unwanted activity happening on them on your behalf.

A network post has appeared and with it, fake social media profiles have popped up too. You didn’t post to it, the shellphones have automatically done that for you. They’ve posted one picture, your age and three random facts about you. Whether or not those facts are true or not is … sketchy at best.

If you’re curious, go scrolling through the network post and see what it says about others! Comment around and ask them about their facts! And maybe make a new friend?

- Oocly, you will post your character to the network post with a picture, name and age and three random facts.
- The facts don't have to be true and can be entirely made up and be random or wild. Or they can be the realist facts about your character. It's up to you.
- Have your character react icly any way you want!
- Post and tag around!
- This is not necessarily a romance/date finding post, we just thought it was funny. Make friends and cr!

She was also the one who witnessed the unfortunate guillotine mishap.

I'll have to ask her about it sometime. [ Not meant to sound ominous at all. ]

Freya seemed rather kind and helpful, if not a little hesitant. I'm surprised she tried to throw you off her back.

Why does the idea of you two talking worry me?

[Augh. He can already hear Aranea making fun of him somehow. Maybe he should've withheld that information.]

Yes, well, apparently she hates men. She tried to do it while we were on the ground and even in the air.

[esquim]

Is there something she might know you wouldn't want me to?

[ She wouldn't be surprised. ]

Attempted murder is quite the hatred. It's hard to imagine her doing that though, she did seem very sweet.

[musicien]

Just call it a feeling. [Who knows what she's actually going to say.]

Well, considering you're a woman, you have the advantage when it comes to her. And I can't blame Freya either. I was told her original keepers left a bad impression.

For what it's worth, you don't have to worry about me saying anything personal.

[ If that helps at all. ] Unless you're more concerned about embarrassing stories she may have. [ Which Lune is now hopeful to get. ]

I'd heard that as well. I'm glad she's been given a chance at a kinder keeper.

[musicien]

I appreciate the reassurance. But I'm certain I've already told you the most embarrassing of the stories she might share.

[He has no reason to be worried. Right?]

We can at least agree there.

We al have hidden embarrassing stories that are only seen by someone else.

[ Be worried. ]

[musicien]

[Oh, he's worried.]

Hmm, guess we'll see how that conversation goes.

Perhaps I'll reach out to her now. It'll give me more practice with these devices.

[musicien]

Isn't this entire thing [Whatever this is.] practice enough?

You should know there's no such thing as too much practice.

Speaking of this, has a thing like it ever happened?

[Lune, how dare you bring music into this, his one weakness. He's going to leave it at that for now. Anything else might implicate him further. Or entice her to reach out even more.]

There was one other time, a few months back. But that one had been voluntary, a game called "two truths, one lie."

[esquim]

[ She knows the weakness to poke at now. At least as much as she's willing to. But she's got a whole plan now about reaching out. ]

Mm. What an... interesting game. [ deadpan stare. Biting her tongue. Luckily she's distracted by her curiosity. ]

This wasn't voluntary, which makes me wonder where the information came from. Who could know all these things? Even if some are vague or a stretching of the truth, it's still a lot to know about us all.

[musicien]

[Ah, too soon? Verso will hold his tongue on that in return.]

Well, as most of this is public, someone could be taking notes of what's been said, lurking from the shadows prior to everything being said. Or perhaps they're trying to rile us up, exposing even more about ourselves.

[esquim]

[ at least she's quick to forget when she finds a mystery! ]

What about the information belonging to people like me who just arrived? How could they have found it? And who would "they" be?

[ yes, she does real airquotes with her free hand. It's also probably obvious by the bumpy image that she's pacing . ]

[musicien]

[The way everything bounces, he can imagine what she was doing as if he was there. Not that he blames her for being irritated that things they might've held close to the chest were being put out on display.]

Mind you, this is all speculation on my part. Can't exactly read the mind of whoever is behind this.

[esquim]

No, we can't. But there clearly is someone behind it and I'd like to know more. I'm tired of people playing with my business. It causes messes.

[ of course there's always the option of everyone just being upfront and honest. Then there's no surprises to be revealed. But nobody is going to choose that. ]

[musicien]

[An indirect insult, but he'll take it.]

[For what exactly he doesn't elaborate.]

[ she almost laughs, more of a scoff- short and sharp. For once she wasn't really meaning him. ]

Mm, you know it's not always about you. [ There's trepidation in the way she says it, like it's actually intended to be teasing. And she softens so very slightly. ]

Besides, you were impacted too.

[musicien]

Was I? Couldn't imagine how much more, especially after the gommage.

[It had been at point that he had felt the most hopeless. That all his plans had been for naught.]

[esquim]

Talking about after the gommage is definitely not something to be done here and now.

[ But then she hesitates for a moment, tiptoeing once again, before following up with: ]

But...would you not say that you were impacted by other people's...messes?

[musicien]

[This time it's his turn to scoff, lips pressed together in a thin line. He casts his eyes elsewhere, away from the shellphone's camera.]

"Messes" takes the gravity of what happened lightly. [He shifts, burying half his face into his fist.] But you're right. I've been affected by all of it as well.

[esquim]

You're right, but do you really want to open the door to the gravity of it all?

[ She sighs and for a moment looks like she might ask the question there on the tip of her tongue, the dreaded 'why' question. If that was why he made his choices. No question comes though, she just presses her lips together. ]
