Hello, and good day- I am Professor Turo for those who I have yet to meet.

This message is more for those of you that also visited Snaxburg Island and either had one of the creatures there follow you off of it, or may have... unfortunately eaten any of them.

[As he spoke, Turo's tone may have remained calm but there was a serious note to it. There did happen to be a Strabby perched on the desk behind him, a pink bow tied around it, which Turo did know was around but didn't know was there at the moment. There was, however, one he did know was going to be in frame.

Held very much like a hamburger he lifted up a BBQ Bunger so that googly eyes were facing the phone's camera.]

I do in fact mean those creatures like this- for those who might not have gone to the island, or even those who may need a reminder. These creatures that are known as Bugsnax are parasitic creatures that only have that nature turn into something dangerous upon being eaten. So again-

[After setting Chipotle the BBQ Bunger back down.]

Do not eat the Bugsnax, they are parasitic in nature upon being consumed.

If you have eaten any of the creatures found on Snaxburg Island, we may need to have a word or more. Please do get in touch.

I can say that this was the last thing I expected to come across when exploring the island further. It is still worth in-depth study, in my opinion.

Just be careful. I wouldn't be surprised if this weren't all of it.

Neither would I- which means, unfortunately, if there are other parts of the Island here? It is very easy to imagine one part looking for the other, given it is Bugsnax all the way down from what I saw.

This is what they're made of, the entire island is as well.

There was a sort of collapse, and this was the area uncovered.

Are you sure that the ground collapsing wasn't the island itself trying to kill you?

Difficult to say. Fortunately, I had Miraidon's pokéball on me and was able to get back to the surface.

Please don't go back to the island.

At least not without good reason- the Captain has asked me to write up a report for his review before we approach either armada to propose creating some sort of quarantine field around the island.

Stop anyone from going in, or leaving.

Don't You already have enough information and evidence for a report?

(He's the most useful person living here. They'd really rather not lose him because he went back to a living food island just to gather information.

Fortunately I do, yes. Someone else onboard is going to share information they observed, and I am going to get into contact with the one I explored some of the ruins and looked over various carvings with as well.

I can take my time to make sure a strong case is made, and should have it finished by -if not before- the middle of next month.

It is much safer not to go back- even with that part of me that wants to.
