TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE
There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.
A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.
Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

I have been to and seen the edges of the universe.
My aforementioned friend fought a volcano to save a vineyard.

I heard when I resumed my studies in Amaurot. Although, my colleagues speak more about the theft portion of the event and less of the vineyard.
Granted, I would not be surprised if Azem did fight a volcano one day. The previous Azem's companion struck a meteor from the sky once, did he not?

As much as I was grateful to have the matter resolved, I was not impressed to hear that Hythlodaeus allowed them to take such a dangerous concept out.

He seems like a man good with words.
[He pauses, a knot of dread tightening in his chest, but pushing himself, he adds:]
Emet-Selch? Joshua Rosfield knew our people as Ascians. Is...
The first thing you typed... is that why?
no subject
Yes. Disembodied souls, occupying the space between worlds: the void. It was necessary to escape Hydaelyn's blade. Only myself, Elidibus, and your father managed it.

I feel it does not matter which is the lie when even the truths are beyond comprehension.
Although, it is at least easier to picture the latter happening. Did your friend block the top of the volcano or divert the lava flow?
no subject
For the record, I made sure to let them know what an utterly reckless idea it was after they returned.
no subject
[ Yeah. Sure. Why not at this point? ]
Does that protect the vineyards permanently from the volcano, or does the protection wear thin over time?
no subject
So in a sense, yes, the 'protection' wears thin over time. 'Tis more accurate to say that nature resumes its course.

That is correct. I haven't yet been to the edge of the universe, although I'm told I shall in future.

But if anyone can reach the edge of the universe, I have no doubt it'd be you!

I must say, Emet-Selch, yours might be the most challenging response to this little game.
I feel that the only one of these things I can somewhat confidently guess to be true is the third, given that I know a few people who would probably do the same in that situation.
no subject
You are correct about the third being true. My friend recklessly decided to venture forth and quell a volcano in the way they know best: through combat.

That...
That seems like something both Link and Darin would try to do... ]
And how did your friend fare against their foe?
[ Why does Zelda have this terrible feeling Emet-Selch is going to say his friend won? ]
no subject
They won, of course.

You know, some of these really make me wonder what kind of worlds people live in.

I looked at your answers, and they're so ridiculously unbelievable that it's hard to consider any of them as true, let alone which one's the lie.

But maybe the second one then? The first one is the most believable.
