What made you believe this would ever be a naturally occurring thing? The only time I have seen any creature close to it is in Thedas, it was done with blood magic.

Chief Hythlodaeus, as intriguing an existence as it is, I do not think the addition of these extra designs brings us closer to understanding it.

...although it seems to have been preoccupied with the sea long enough for you to approach to capture its image... That... is something, I suppose.

Which direction was it facing? Towards where we caught it, or somewhere else?

Approximately where we caught it, I believe. Mayhap the place we found it was indeed its natural habitat... or there is something else of import there.
