Hello.

I am in need of legal advice regarding a private matter:

Is a marriage contract legally binding if one or more parties involved were under the influence of spiritual possession while it was officiated?

To be honest I hadnt even thought about it until I saw this

I guess Ill just talk to her? I mean we were trying to help some poor ghosts get married so Im pretty sure shed never actually want to marry me.

Still it was a lot of fun! I used to be scared of ghosts but after that whole thing? Im pretty sure I have the best memory tied to ghosts!

Hah! Honestly? Im a complete mess of a person. And Im nowhere even close to the guy Id want to be before I would ever consider something like marriage.

Besides were from different worlds. I couldnt ask her to abandon her home for me. Im not worth an entire world

But she keeps me going. Hell just saying that Im not the person I want to be yet is a huge difference to how I used to be. She actually makes me want a future

So yeah if this is legally binding somehow I cant just trap her with me. She deserves to want whatever she wants even if its not me. Plain and simple. And the absolute least I can do is respect what she wants because she respects me enough for the both of us.

Marriage is literally just another title. If the world says were married we dont have to listen to them if thats not what we really want and if it is?

I don't believe titles can simply be ignored like that. And marriage is a contract. There are certain rules which must be obeyed by those who enter into the contract.

Funny you say that, the person I married has kinda been keeping titles on the down low since we met. I know titles have meanings but thats only if people acknowledge them.

But as for the contract, I didnt sign anything. Contracts are just agreements and for marriage its just an agreement to love each other right?

How do you feel about this person? If you love them you dont need an agreement to love them or not.

I guess my best advice is to just stick with what your heart says. For me? I dont care if people think were married or not and the law doesnt matter to me.

Im just happy. Happier than Ive been in a long time.

But marriage is... complicated when you are heir to the throne. The person you wed will become your consort and rule at your side. For the good of the kingdom, it is imperative that you pick the right person for the job.
